Gutterspace

Gutterspace is a hand-drawn, local co-op game where you and a friend control a two-headed skeleton named Tiddle and Dot.

You’ll need to communicate... every jump, every ability, every movement is shared. Stay in sync and you’ll move faster and get bonuses. Fall out of sync and… not so much.

The world you’re exploring is built from poetry written by the creators. Some of it James wrote as a kid. Some of it I wrote recently, while trying to heal from war experiences, family, and everything else I never dealt with properly. Each poem becomes a dreamlike level, and every word becomes a wisp you can collect. As you gather a full poem you unlock summonable allies that can give you a break from sharing the same body, as well as some special abilities.

This is a game about coordination, memory, and embracing weirdness. A dreamscape stitched together from real things. All our art is hand-drawn by James.
